Private and Semi-Private Instruction

Colchester Equines offers dressage, hunter/jumper, general english, and western lessons. We take pride in our personal attention to fit your needs. If you don’t see something listed here that fits your needs, please ask!

Expect to spend 1.5 hours at the barn for a one hour lesson. This includes time for basic instruction, tacking, and cleanup.

Private Lessons

• 1 hour - $75

• 45 min. - $65

• ½ hour - $45

• 45 min (at your facility) - $80

Semi Private Lesson

• (Two riders for 1 hour) - $60/rider

Beginner Private Lesson $120

This lesson is for the first time rider (this is a one time charge). The lesson is an hour and a half long, consisting of one half-hour spent learning basic safety, and tacking and grooming skills, and about an hour spent riding.
